Sex work - prostitution. Sure, we all have heard about it. The oldest trade in the world. Seen in TV crime shows. But who are sex workers in real life? What are the realities of their lives like?
Come along, you can find out with us. We-the colleagues from cara*SH- counseling center for sex workers-are showing the exhibition of the book of the same name “Sex Workers” by Tim Oehler. You can experience pictures and stories of sex workers of all genders in their professional and private lives. Oehler wants to illustrate that sex workers are people with a - perhaps! - rather unusual profession, but an ordinary private life. To accompany the exhibition, our speakers Lydia, Eléonore Willems, Mona Rudolph and Ruby Rebelde will make other different perspectives of sex workers visible and accessible. We hope that the topic of sex work will be brought more into focus in society and that prejudices will be broken down.
Admission is free!
